About REAL LIFE Ministries
Hi—I’m Anne.
I’ve spent much of my life walking with people through some of life’s most tender, tangled, and transformative moments. But my path into this work hasn’t been linear.
I began my professional life as a nurse and my personal life as a mom—both became training grounds for the work I do today. In those early years, I was learning how to show up with compassion, to recognize what was needed—even when it’s unspoken—and to offer hope in moments of uncertainty. Whether in a hospital room or around my kitchen table, those experiences shaped how I cared for others and sparked a deeper desire to understand what it means to heal, grow, and restore—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.
Over the years, I became an ordained pastor and trained in Inner Healing through Restoring the Foundations ministry. I earned diplomas in Practical Ministry and Counseling from the Wagner Leadership Institute.
Together with my late husband, Tim, I co-founded REAL LIFE Ministries and coauthored the REAL LIFE book series—a collection focused on marriage, communication, intimacy, and personal growth. As the years unfolded, those threads of experience came together in a way I never could’ve scripted—forming the foundation of the work I now do full-time through counseling and coaching.
While my life’s work has centered around creating space for others to grow and heal, nothing has shaped me more than motherhood.
I started with four children, and thanks to marriage, three more joined the family—I count all seven as mine. Together, they’ve added six incredible grandchildren to our family, who—along with the ones who made me a mom—represent my greatest accomplishment and deepest joy.
When I’m not working, you might find me at home on my back deck with a cup of coffee, listening to music and taking in the view of the Front Range.
I love spending time with family, reading good books, or diving into just about anything creative.
This life isn’t polished or perfect—but it’s full of purpose, gratitude, and a quiet sense of the miraculous. So if you’re looking for healing or hope, know this—there’s room for your story here.
